ACILP has developed the Fragility and Resilience program as a cross-cutting inititiative aiming to address the special case and needs of fragile african countries, that are countries affected by security, humanitarian, climate change threats. Fragiles countries often need a rebuilt of their legal and policy ecosystems in order to provide economic opportunities to affected populations and communities and satify their basic human rights needs such as the right to education, energy, healthcare, water supply and sanitation etc.

The Fragility and Resilience inititiative is currently being implemented as part of ACILP's two main programs (Economic Law & Policy and Natural Resources Governance).
